Plan a Day

Everything you need before the gate: tickets, hours, how to get to Wondervale, what to eat and what to know. The rest, the park will teach you.

Tickets

Kids are under-12. Under-3s walk in free and are statistically the loudest fans of the Hundredhand. Tickets are sold at the gate and never sell out for Wondervale residents on weekdays.

Hours

Soak’s water attractions wind down at 20:00 so the district can turn into the quietest corner of Afterdark. The Board always knows first.

Getting here

By trainWondervale Parkway station, 12 minutes on foot along the flag path. Trains every 10 minutes from the city.

By car40 minutes from the city on the western expressway. 6,000 covered spaces; the yellow car park is closest to the gate.

By shuttleDirect shuttles from the airport and central station, first out 08:40, last back 23:30 — after the firework, before the car park empties.

On foot, at the endThe Lantern Route back to the gate is the recommended exit. Allow twelve unhurried minutes.

Eating

The Snackworks in The Yard runs all day — twelve counters, one rule: nothing you could easily make at home. From 18:00 the Night Market takes over with a cast of cooks that changes nightly. Every district keeps water fountains, and Soak’s are the coldest. Allergy maps are printed at every counter, and every kitchen can tell you exactly what is in everything.

Accessibility

Step-free routes reach every district and every food counter; the loop path has no stairs anywhere on it. Seventeen of our twenty attractions take guests without transfer; Loosetooth, The Grandfather and Vertigo Garden need a transfer and our crews are trained and unhurried about it. Quiet hours in Sideways run 10:00–11:00 daily — no music, no horns, machinery at half volume. Sensory maps, ear defenders and access passes live at Guest Services, just inside the gate on the left.

Asked often

Is one day enough?

Honestly: almost. You can walk all six worlds in a day if you start at ten. What you can’t do in one day is queue for Loosetooth twice, hold the Slow Race record and still make the Night Market before the good stall sells out. That’s what the Two Days ticket is for.

What happens if it rains?

The park stays open and Soak becomes ideologically confusing. Rainroom is, for obvious reasons, unaffected. Coasters pause in storms and the Board says so the moment it happens.

Why only one firework?

Because you remember one. A twenty-minute barrage is wallpaper by minute six. One firework, once, with everyone watching — that’s a full stop, not a screensaver.

Can adults go in Little Giants?

Yes, except The Fort’s tower, which is defended by its residents. The giant bench takes all sizes and is frankly one of the best seats in the park.

Do I need to book the firework?

No. It’s launched over the lake and visible from most of the park. The shore fills from 22:15; the Lantern Route is the pretty way there.
